 RiseNY Experience || NYC || Broadway

RiseNY is located in W 45th street, Broadway, Manhattan. The location is directly next to Times Square. It is a self pace museum where you get to see the history of New York through different exhibits. It also includes a 6 minute long flight simulation at the end of the museum tour. Tickets for adults (13+) are usually $29 on weekdays and $32 on weekends, although on special holidays tickets could cost more. The museum does offer special rates for groups, kids (12 and under), seniors and military servers. 

The tour starts with an introduction video which documents the development of Times Square. Then you are able to explore the exhibits, which starts from the New Amsterdam Settlement. The museum had information on New York’s evolution in fashion, entertainments, buildings, and many more. At the end of the museum, there is a flight simulation which lifts you 30 feet to fly around New York City. Wind, mist and moving seats makes the ride fun and realistic. You are allowed to skip the flight if you wish. 

Overall the experience was enjoyable, and I would recommend it to those who like history, or to those who want to ride a flight simulation.

It is the largest art museum in the Western Hemisphere.  On Friday August 12th, I went to the Met museum with my parents.
